Ginger Masala Chai
Moonlit's version of India's world famous Masala Chai. Complete with a signature, extra flourish of juicy Chinese ginger. Great as a rainy-day me-up, paired with your favorite cookie and a good long read.
Our recipe is light-bodied yet fiery - balancing Northeast Indian & Sri Lankan black teas, whole green cardamom pods, whole cloves, three cinnamons, two gingers, & black Indian peppercorns to produce an spicy yet sweet cup. Great with milk and sugar, or just as-is!

With our new Ginger Masala Chai, we recommend steeping 1 Tbsp (~9 grams) of tea in 12oz of boiling water for 4.5-5 minutes.
1 Tbsp | 212°F | 12oz | 4.5-5 Minutes
Do note that as a chai, the black teas used come in much smaller pieces than our typical loose leaves.
