Snow Chrysanthemum

A stunning & rare Chinese varietal of chrysanthemum from the high altitude winterscape of the Kunlun Mountains. Hard to find since, as per namesake, this herbal tea can only bloom and harvest in the cold of winter!

Ironically warm & sweet, with a naturally golden-orange hue. Yields smooth and clean, sunny notes of orange, dried mandarin peel, cinnamon, licorice and red date or jujube.

With smaller blossoms than Chrysanthemum Gold, We recommend brewing about 4g of Snow Chrysanthemums in a 12oz of 190*F for at least 4 minutes. A fun alternative to our Chrysanthemum Gold or to sharper, tangier hibiscus teas, this tisane can steep multiple times rather quickly, but prefers less-than-boiling temperatures.
