Qi Men Red | "Chee-mun" | 祁門紅茶

One of the first Chinese black teas ever exported to the Western World. Born in a county historically known for green tea, this 1800's brew made waves in Europe to the point of becoming the base of many modern English Breakfast and Earl Grey blends!

Smooth and deceptively complex, our Qi Men offers quick-brewing, citrusy & smoky tones that mature into malt & unsweetened cocoa upon resteeping. Great for the busy worker & active folk avoiding calories - this high caffeine leaf brews a sweet depth of personality without a drop of milk or sugar.

For this light & air leaf, we recommend steeping 2 tbsp at 180-190F for 2 minutes. Hotter resteeps work as well, but will skip straight to the malt/cocoa profile.
