Gentle, medium-dark, and naturally sweet - Midnight Black is a more accessible, everyday crop of our High Mountain Black!

Hailing from the same high elevation Shandong Mountains, Midnight offers a gentle cacao, sweet malt, & faintly toasty, wooden undertone great for a naturally sugary pick-me-up.

While it bears no sugar, please note this gentle black tea still packs caffeine!

Taiwanese and Chinese black teas are more subtle & sweet than Indian ones like our Golden-Tipped Assam, they still share similar caffeine, antioxidants, and benefits towards metabolic & cardiovascular health!

Standard Brewing Suggestion (Western Style)

8g | 12oz | 195-205°F | 3-3.5 Minutes

We prefer this brew at 205 at a 3.5 minute sweetspot. It is less hardy than our premier High Mountain Black, and wants to showcase a softer personality that gets muddled by full-boiling water, or a 4 minute+ steep
