Featuring...

Aged Mandarin Peel Aged White Tea (Orange)

Naturally sweet, and aged to subtle perfection - this coin shows off a popular flavor from TCM herbal concoctions - Chén Pí 陈皮!

Sun-dried, aged mandarin peel is prized for aiding sore throats and digestion - but also in Cantonese soups simply for its aroma, complexity & uniquely elegant sugar built by time - all balanced with the similarly aged, mellowing earthen tones of low-caffeine white tea.

Together, they offer a easy to digest, easy drinking token of citrusy sugar you can enjoy without the guilt. A quaint evening treat, that doubles as a mild digestive & bloating aid!

Big Red Robe Dark Oolong (Red)

AKA Da Hong Pao, the soothingly smoky poster-child of Wuyi - the "King of Rock Teas". Born in mineral rich, rocky cliffsides, and fabled to have cured the grave illness of a Ming Emperor's mother, it's famous for representing the depth of dark roasted & high oxidation oolongs. Yields an earthen brew with a lasting minerality - satisfyingly full-bodied and hearty.

This one's our personal favorite! Especially when needing to get intense work done. Not as overbearingly smoky as pine-roasted Lapsang, but deeply toasty & mellow-sweet in a way that hits the spot for Dark Roast coffee and Dark Chocolate lovers.

We find our Red Robe Oolong grants a solid boost of energy and steady mental focus like Matcha - surprisingly calm & controlled - but without the jitters of coffee & energy drinks.

Osmanthus Flower White (White)

For those who love jasmines and other florals, this token of delicate white tea is a lovely foray into a blossom not often seen in California - Osmanthus!

A tiny, subtropical golden flower native to East Asia, this bloom alongside jasmine & magnolia are some of China & Taiwan's classics for imbuing elegant flavors and skin-focused health benefits - similar to how rose and lavender are beloved in the West!

While not as funky & potent as our Osmanthus Light Oolong, Osmanthus White offers a more subtle, low-acidity & low-caffeine dose of apricot-like florals mingled with the sweetly herbal, garden air-esque sips of Bai Mu Dan (aka White Peony) white tea. Gentle on the stomach, and just sweet enough for a healthy after-dinner "dessert" or nightcap.

Lemon Peel Duckshit Fragrance Phoenix Dancong (Yellow)

Funny enough...yes. This is the actual traditional name! But no, fortunately there are no actual ducks or duckshit involved - besides a very silly name meant to deter would-be tea thieves centuries ago 🦆🌱

No tour of oolongs would be complete without the Phoenix Mountains most infamous cup. A great representation of this tea region's more floral & honey-like heirloom oolongs, Duckshit Dancong or "single-bush" tea is often paired with local citrus peel for a classic honey-lemon sweetness with no sugar. Perfect for a summer's day :)

Highlighting the happy middleground of oolong roast & oxidation, we hope you enjoy this last entry to round out your tea flight~
