This teapot is complete with a cast iron body for heat retention & consistent brewing, smooth enamel interior for clear flavor & ease of cleaning, and a deep, removable stainless steel filter for convenience and fullness of brew. Do be aware this brewer will retain heat much longer than porcelain or glass! Due to hand-painting, each teapot may also feature individual paint imperfections.

Generalized Guide to Western style brewing:

White Tea: ~180°F, 2-5 minutes to taste
Green Tea: ~180°F, 3-4 minutes to taste
Oolong Tea: ~190°F, 3-4 minutes to taste
Black Tea: Boiling water, 4-5 minutes to taste
Loose Pu'erh: Boiling water, 3-5 minutes to taste
Herbals: Boiling water, 3-5 minutes to taste

For voluminous teas like white tea or Chrysanthemum Gold, don't be afraid to gently stir your tea just enough to soak & begin steeping!
