Our latest batch from our February Topdrawer x Lover's Lane pop-ups! This fall batch is a more accessible, everyday flower tisane than our Royal Chrysanthemum, and leans more smooth, warmly earthen & meadow honey instead of cooling citrus & fresh pine.
For a 12oz house cup, we recommend steeping six flowers (or 6g of flower) in boiling hot 212°F water for 6 minutes. Autumn Chrysanthemum takes a while to get its first brew - but is also low maintenance & very difficult to oversteep!
Careful if you need it for party presentation though - the flower petals are more brittle & delicate than Royal Chrysanthemum.
Feel free to add goji, honey, and/or simply add boiling water and come back to this chrysanthemum teapot whenever you feel like it. Longer steeps will actually yield more smooth, meadow honey-like sugar & no bitterness.
